Microsoft SQL Server (driver missing)

I have Report Server 4.0.0.6057 and I am trying to configure the connection to a data source on SQL Server 2019.

I have added the jar file "sqljdbc42.jar" on

C:\Bitnami\reportserver-4.0.0.6057-0\apps\reportserver\reportserver-conf\lib
and
C:\Bitnami\reportserver-4.0.0.6057-0\apache-tomcat\webapps\reportserver\WEB-INF\lib

I have restarted the report server service but the "driver missing" message is still shown. What am I missing?

Thank you!

Re: Microsoft SQL Server (driver missing)

Hello dmourao,

and welcome to the ReportServer Forums.

For the bitnami version of ReportServer you do not need to configure anything, as it functions "out of the box" so to say.

Judging by the problem you have we could not need some more information.

How does the configuration file the so called "persistence.properties" file look like regarding the SQL Server 2019 datasource you try to connect to.

You can find this file in the following path of your bitnami installation:

C:\Bitnami\reportserverenterprise-4.0.0.6053-1\apps\reportserver\reportserver-conf

Open the persistence.properties with e.g. notepadd++ and tell us your config there.
