Upgrading 3.1.1 to 3.4

I am new at my job and we were looking to give ReportServer another shot as they had started looking at it over a year ago and then it fell off.  I tried following the upgrade guide, but the installer only attempted to install a new instance.  Since we are looking to do the 45 day trial again, would it just be easier to remove the old instance and start fresh, or is there a proper way to update this instance?

Hi wkratky,

you may try both. An upgrade should work as explained here: https://reportserver.net/en/tutorials/upgrade-30/

You can also try of course a fresh installation.
If you need a license key extension, pls write us and we will send it to you.
