HTML view in dashboards

We have a bunch of reports which we put into dashboards. The issue is that in "preview" mode, the columns are fixed width, and are way to wide, but in "HTML" mode, every report has a header on them.

How do you build Dashboards that are simply the output of a report in such a way that they look good?

Not looking for an export, we’re looking for a Dashboard that looks good.
