Hi,
In reportserver there is an option to add Crystal Reports. Using the documentation I added the following files to the lib directory and restarted the reportserver;
com.azalea.ufl.barcode.1.0.jar
CrystalCommon2.jar
CrystalReportsRuntime.jar
cvom.jar
DatabaseConnectors.jar
icu4j.jar
jai_imageio.jar
JDBInterface.jar
jrcerom.jar
keycodeDecoder.jar
logging.jar
pfjgraphics.jar
QueryBuilder.jar
webreporting-jsf.jar
webreporting.jar
XMLConnector.jar
xpp3.jar
But the option to insert Crystal Reports is still greyed out. What other steps are required to enable Crystal Reports?

Hi davejal,
are you using ReportServer Enterprise or Enterprise Evaluation version ?
This is only possible in Enterprise / Enterprise Evaluation, as you see here: https://reportserver.net/en/pricing/ (scroll down for a comparison)
If you are using community version, this is not enabled.

Hi Eduardo,
Thanks for the quick response. It's clear now as I'm using the community version.
Can it be enabled in the community version or would that be a license conflict?
kind regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,
this cannot be enabled in the community version, as this is an enterprise feature. We can send you a temporary enterprise evaluation license if you need one to evaluate this.

Hi Eduardo,
I will check what the best option is. We have multiple clients and am not sure yet in which direction the company wants to go. We provide java applications and have developed our own reporting server. But I am the BI product manager and our own reporting server has some limitations, which RS already has. At this point I only have one client were I would implement this and am not sure what direction our company will go about reporting from our applications.
kind regards,
Dave
