Dynamic List column type longvarchar size limit

Hi Team

Is there a size limit with Dynamic Lists columns? We have a MYSQL data source with a column type TEXT (also tested with LONGTEXT). The data in that column is around 5kb. In the preview of the Dynamic List there seems to be a display size limit of 3992 or so?

Regards
Aniello

Re: Dynamic List column type longvarchar size limit

Hi Aniello,

if you make an export of the dynamic list, e.g. to excel, do you see the complete or the truncated contents?

Eduardo

Re: Dynamic List column type longvarchar size limit

Hi Team

We had a complex work around for this - but this has raised itself in a new situation - is it correct that large database columns get truncated in the preview when displaying online? Exporting to Excel shows the complete data. Particular data is 8651 bytes.

Aniello

Re: Dynamic List column type longvarchar size limit

Hi Aniello,

this is true. Large data size would be sent to the browser which would affect performance.

Eduardo
