Test with Report Server Community

Hi guys ,i have a problem about testing a ReportServer Community.
I have a vitural computer installed Report Server Community 3.0.6 with SQL Server and i connect to it  by remote Desktop Connection with IP :35.198.233.92 and after setting up OK with Report Server i can connect the Server like :http://127.0.0.1:8080/ReportServer.html beside that Computer
Now i want to connect the Server in other computer by URL (example like :http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html).
How i can set up for it ?
I hope someone who can help me ?

Hi Bui Cong Quang,

ReportServer should work automatically from a remote computer if the (tomcat) server is reachable from outside. So please perform a ping from the remote computer.
If http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html doesn't work, check your firewall/tomcat/apache configuration, depending on your exact installation.

Thanks so much for your help,i am a senior student and i currently discover about ReportServer Community so i don't understand some specific term and technologies.
I can ping 35.198.233.92 from my computer via CMD in Window but when use http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html for broswer i can't connect to server (RS)  in that computer .
I already turn off firewall in that Computer and do a lot of things but it still happended . Could you help me with that.

1. do you have any error message or what exactly happens when you try to connect to http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html ? Please check the tomcat logs for this.
2. how did you install? A manual or bitnami installation?
3. are you able to connect to http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html *from the same local computer*, i.e. instead of writing http://127.0.0.1:8080/ReportServer.html write http://35.198.233.92:8080/ReportServer.html *in the same machine*. Does this work?

Thank you so much for your help,sorry recently in my country have a  long traditional holiday so i didn't reply to you early. I see your answer a long time ago but i didn't answer you ,i'm sorry about that. Actually in my case ,i have changed my IP address of VM so i cant' connect to that computer So i will skip that use-case and continue to discover more features about RS Community.Thanks a lot for your support.
I want to ask more question about RS Community that : Is possible to use function "sent to  via email " report by using RS Community,i have tried but it not work for me.

Hi Bui Cong Quang,

you can always connect to a computer (VM/remote computer, etc) if it is properly configured. But of course you can postpone that for later.

what exactly didn't work with this ? Do you get any error message in the tomcat logs ? If yes, please post the complete error stack.

Did you set the values in the mail.cf configuration file?

Hi Bui Cong Quang,

how exactly are you sending the email ? Could you please share some screenshots?
Please make sure that the content is not null and the same for the subject, etc.
