Create BIRT Report Datasource

Hello

Perhaps I am missing something but when I try to create a BIRT Report Datasource, the property page that appears only has "name", "description" and "database cache".

Where are the other necessary parameters for me to define the datasource?

Hi Tony,

it depends on what are you trying to do exactly.
If you are planning to use BIRT with a reportserver (relational) datasource, then you should create a "relational datasource" and link your report to this datasource.

BIRT datasources are configured directly in the (reportserver) report. If you create a report and point to a BIRT datasource, you can configure it there. More information here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … a-Sources/ , section "4.7. BIRT Report Data Source".
