How to disable edit query button in dashboard ?

Hello,

When the pivot mode is activated in a variant used in dashboard, the dashboard displays the menu with list of measures & dimensions.

In the dashboard, I would like to not be in the query edit mode to see only the result of the pivot mode.

Is it possible to specify somewhere a property with value true / false to disable the edit query mode ?

Re: How to disable edit query button in dashboard ?

Hi FLU73,

you can set the "configuration protect" flag on the variant used in the dashboard. With this flag set, the user will only be able to open and execute the report. Please check if this flag helps.

In 3.0.5 the mask for setting/unsetting write/configuration protection is not shown. This is a bug and will be corrected in 3.0.6 (RS-3226).
In the meanwhile, you can set the mask by script (node.setConfigurationProtection(true) ). An example can be found here: https://forum.reportserver.net/viewtopi … 5090#p5090
