Valid Licensing for SAP Crystal Reports

What are the licensing requirements from SAP for deploying crystal reports to Report Server?

Hi sp33,

For further investigation into Licensing pls. check: https://www.sap.com/documents/2015/07/3 … 511fa.html specifically page 5.

To create crystal reports you need a valid crystal report license. To distribute valid crystal reports you can use reportserver if you install the SAP Crystal Reports for Java runtime components (short, the Java Reporting Component (JRC)). You'll find these, for example, on the SAP download: (you may have to register here: ) https://www.sap.com/cmp/td/sap-crystal- … trial.html and then click on the ''Runtime libraries'' link. Download the there located archive (around 67 MB). At the time of writing the version available is CR4ERL27_0-80004572.
