Calendar Control - Month/Days do not reflect selected locale

Changing the ReportServer locale at the login screen to 'French' is properly updating all of the labels in the web application to French except for the Calendar Control.

The Calendar Control buttons change as follows to reflect the locale change:
"TODAY" is properly changed to "AUJOURD'HUI"
"CANCEL" is properly changed to 'ANNULER"

However, the days of the week at the top of the calendar are still the English initials 'M T W T F S S', and the names of all of the months are still in English.

Is there some other change that I need to make to ensure that the Days of the Week and the Month names respect the locale change?

Further follow-up:

I tried the same thing on a Windows PC that had French Windows installed and still had the same behavior.
