Export and prview reports

Hello again!

Today i have two small questions: where can i configure the default preview format for reports according with its types? And how can i use "Executing Reports via the URL" mechanism to open HTML report without downloading it? Or execute report by "Configuring Reports in ReportServer by URL" and preview it in HTML format?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Re: Export and prview reports

Some information what may be of interest to you: when i have raised clean RS v 3.0, i couldn't download large reports, because apache disconnected me from RS and throwed AJP error. This problem is corrected by editing httpd.conf and adding here ProxyTimeout = 600  . That not difficult, but nonetheless

Hi Glandike,

Unfortunately this is hard-wired and cannot be configured at the moment.

Just add download=false to the url: e.g.:
http://.../reportserver/reportexport?id=5610&format=html&download=false

Thanks a lot for letting us know. We'll fix this with the next build of the installer.

Cheers,

Re: Export and prview reports

Thanks a lot.

And also, could you tell me, is there a way to open a different view of dynamic list (html actually) in a new browser tab, without downloading it?
