I'm trying to authenticate against AD-server using scripts described in https://reportserver.net/blog/2013/08/0 … entication.
I have successfully imported users from AD but when logging I'll get error message box "Login attempt failed.".
tomcat8-stdout.log has lines
####### LdapPAM: authenticate with local password: fail
####### LdapPAM: authenticate against directory server: success
####### LdapPAM: authenticate success (usr=xxxx)
####### LdapPAM: authenticate notoken (result=AuthenticationResult(false, null, false)
which seems to indicate authentication was successful. So what is wrong here?

Hi,
probably the users just lack the necessary permissions to log in.
Check Administration -> Permission Management -> ReportServer access.
(You also need to separately set up permission for the modules the user should be able to use)

Thank you! That was exactly what was missing. No ReportServer Access permission. Now AD authentication works!
