When I click on Add under conditions in Scheduler..two columns come up but no active buttons/ text fields that i can use to enter any condition...
Any help here would be much appreciated..

Hi,
schedule conditions are a bit tricky to configure. They are powered by dynamic lists that return a single row. If you have such a list (must be a variant), you can convert it into a condition using the terminal command rcondition. Once this is set up you should be able to see conditions in the scheduler.
