Quick question about jasper preview

Hi!
Is it possible to change standart preview type for jasper report? For example, now it's PDF by default, but i want to set default as HTML.

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

Hi,

I am sorry to say that this is currently not possible. We found that usually provides the best preview quality. May I ask why you would like to change the default to html?

Cheers

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

First of all, i want to change it because my problem that i have described here still not solved sad
And the second reason is in pdf trimming. I have quite large table in the result, and it doesn't fit in PDF list size.

This is really necessary for me. Give me any advice, please.

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

Hi,

if your report consists of only a large table, have you tried using the dynamic list instead of Jasper?

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

Because it contains a lot other information. Some summary information, which not depends on selected parameters, moreover it contains pie chart. And i should generate different queries according to selected parameter (multiple dynamic list is not option, because they can't inherit parameters)

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

I am afraid the only thing I can offer at this time is that we provide a customized solution. If that is of interest please drop us a short note to sales@datenwerke.net and we'll prepare a quote.

Best,

Re: Quick question about jasper preview

Can I ask you the last question related to the topic? Is it possible to create report(which uses Jasper template) with html preview via script report?
