ReportServer & PostgreSQL

Hi.

I have just started to look at ReportServer, downloaded it last night and now I am playing around a bit. It looks very promising, thank you for making it available.

We use PostgreSQL 9.2. I am having difficulties defining Dynamic Lists. The error seems to be "Cannot change transaction read-only property in the middle of a transaction" - Stacktrace:

Re: ReportServer & PostgreSQL

Hi Svein,

it seems we broke something in our transaction handling when using postgres.
For now, you can disable connection pooling to work around this.

To do so, edit the file reportserver.properties (in the WEB-INF/classes directory) and set the property

    rs.db.useconnectionpool

to false.

We will fix this as soon as possible; I think a new version will be available tomorrow.

Cheers,
Thorsten
