Datasink Execution Email

We recently moved from the deprecated email process to the email datasink method and now users are complaining about the extra email they are receiving about the execution. Is there a way to disable this email from being sent to the users so they only get the one with the attachment?

That is a known bug in 4.7.2. A Fix will be available in the next release.

the corresponding ticket for this issue is RS-8731, and the fix is expected to be included in the upcoming 4.7.3 release.

Hi abraun,

note that in RS 4.7.3 you will be able to disable the notifications in the scheduler/scheduler.cf configuration file using the disabled attribute:

<fileactionEmailDatasink disabled="true" html="false">

This setting is not working in RS 4.7.2 as adrian1703 mentioned.
