Bulk upload

Is there a way to do a bulk upload of Jasper reports? I can take an export of any folder in XML format, can I use that same export to upload that folder to another RS instance?

What about a zipped collection of JRXML files, is there a way to upload it, like you would with Jasperserver?

Re: Bulk upload

Hi,

Sorry for my late Response!

Import-Export via XML between different Reportservers should work. This will be more comfortable in the next release wink
importing a zipped collection is currently only possibly to store them in the RS-Filesystem. No report will be created.

I will definately write that down!

you CAN do this using a groovy script.

kind Regards

Felix

Re: Bulk upload

Felix, thanks for your response. However in that case, if XML upload is already supported, how exactly is the upload performed? I can't find the bulk upload function on the GUI, only individual report upload.

Re: Bulk upload

Hi PT,

you can find the import menu here:
administration > import

between "global constants" and "permissions"

So you have to change the view from reports to import...

you may also have a look at https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … nd-Export/

Re: Bulk upload

Hi PT,

pls also note that you can export/import complete directories , not just individual reports. Just click on the directory you want to export and you can export it analogously as an individual report. Pls take a look here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … nd-Export/

Regards,
Eduardo
