Administrators in ReportServer

Dear,

we have one administrator in ReportServer. It is also marked in the database as super_user (super_user = true).

Now we added another user, we wish to make it administrator - to modify datasources, create reports, etc. We added the user to the group Administrators, but datasources are not shown and reports can not be created with this user.

Please advise us, how to add another administrator to ReportServer instance.

Hi Nikolaj,

just having a user in the default "Administrators" group does not mean that the user is able to do everything in ReportServer. You have to set needed permissions for the "Administrators" group as explained here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … anagement/
