LDAP is disabled in ReportServer 4.5

Hi,

I´m trying to enable LDAP authentication in Report Server 4.5.

As per documentation, I should modify the file ldap.cf in etc/sso folder, and then execute a config reload in terminal.

However, even after configuring the file like this <disabled>false</disabled>, I´m still getting error "LDAP is disabled" when I perform a ldaptest. I also tried to comment the parameter out, however it failed as well.

Does anybody have any clue how to enable LDAP authentication in RS 4.5 ?

what do you see when you enter the following into the terminal:

config echo sso/ldap.cf disabled

(https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … nd-config/)

can you pls also post your ldap.cf file (deleting passwords, etc)

how are you configuring LDAP in Report server terminal? How to open this terminal IN LINUX and run LDAP commands?

Hi Eduardo,

Thank you for the tip of "config echo sso/ldap.cf disabled". When I first ran it, I got null as response.

So I figured out that I had to escape some special characters that I had in "principal" configuration.
