HTML embedded in email body

Reopening a topic from 2014:

Hi ReportServer Team,
First thanks a lot for the product, this is really a good and feature rich product.
Now question, while scheduling report we have option to select the format PDF, Word, Excel or HTML, if I select HTML, I receive email with a attached HTML file, is it possible to have an embedded HTML email instead of attachment.

I wanted to re-open this topic.  Is this a feature that exists anywhere?  We have some BIRT reports that we send via PDF or HTML, but have a specific need for the report to be embedded in the HTML so an email recipient can automatically see the contents of the report without opening a seperate attachment.

this is currently not supported out-of-the-box. You can use script datasinks for adding this functionality, pls refer to https://reportserver.net/en/guides/scri … Datasinks/ for more information.
