Hi!
Once again many thanks for latest version Report Server.
At present we are importing a large number of members (from the prepared xml, but an error with "importrpc" appears during the import process).
502 Proxy Error <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>502 Proxy Error</title> </head><body>
Proxy Error
<p>The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.<br /> The proxy server could not handle the request <a href="/reportserver/reportserver/importrpc">POST /reportserver/reportserver/importrpc</a>.<p> Reason: <strong>Error reading from remote server</strong></p></p> </body></html> Statuscode: 502 EncodedResponse: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>502 Proxy Error</title> </head><body>
Proxy Error
<p>The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.<br /> The proxy server could not handle the request <a href="/reportserver/reportserver/importrpc">POST /reportserver/reportserver/importrpc</a>.<p> Reason: <strong>Error reading from remote server</strong></p></p> </body></html>
We are trying to import in part, on the first iteration of all correctly,
but after the creation of 4,000 objects we see this error
Is it possible that this is a problem in time-out or a large number of imported users (5074 user accounts)
Could you suggest any solution to your problem.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Max,
a 502 error can have a bunch of reasons but a timeout might be the most likely one in this case. Have you tried to increase the timeout settings of your reverse proxy? If that does not help, as a first start you should have a look at the tomcat logfiles as well as the logfiles of your proxy server if there is anything suspicious in there.
Best Regards,
Thomas
