How to use dashboard parameters in static HTML dadget

I am trying to generate a graph next to a dynamic list.
The dynamic list updates correctly with I update the parameter in the dashboard.
I am using the reportexport URL to get the json data from the report like this

http://10.72.6.220:8080/reportserver/re … ormat=json

When hardcoding the parameter, it works well.

How do I get the value of the parameter in the HTML dadget in order to send it to the reportexport URL?

Re: How to use dashboard parameters in static HTML dadget

Hi,

and welcome to the ReportServer forum.

I am afraid, that this is currently not possible, that is, the HTML dadget currently cannot access parameters. (This is something that will be added with ReportServer 3.1.) In the meantime the easiest workaround is probably to use a script report rather than a static HTML dadget. The script report can render HTML and it can access parameters.

Hope this helps,

Arno

Yes, script reports are only available in ReportServer Enterprise.

Saiku reports do not support parameters.

Thomas
