What are the best requirements for reportserver?

Hi,
I'm thinking to implement a new report server ,by using this product, under linux environments .
So I wonder what would it be the best software solution to run a very fast and responsive reporting engine?
In detail :
1) What would the most suitable linux O.S for reportserver?
2) How much ram would it be suitable ?

Hi ralex,

the OS is really not that important. If it can run an application server then you're good to go. As for ram this really depends on your usage szenario. How many users, what type of reports (for example, dynamic lists do most of their work on the database, whereas Jasper or Birt runs mostly in memory of the application server).
