ReportServer (ApacheTomcat9) consuming CPU on Server

Dear,

we noticed, that after we cancel query (Saiku Reports), the Report Server (Apache Tomcat 9, Windows 2012 R2) still consumes large portion of CPU. If we repeatedly execute and cancel query we totally blocked the Server by CPU consumption at 100%.

We try to set affinitiy on the process, so it would use only 2/4 cores, the processor consumption was at 50% for all night, after that we restarted the process.

Hi Nikolaj,

canceling the query in Saiku reports do not necessarily stop the DB query, as you noticed. This seems to be a Saiku issue:

"We see that our server gets bogged down because of accumulation of cancelled user queries."

this seems to be the same you describe.
