New User login issue

I've just set up community edition. Everything seems to be working well with the admin user I created during install. I can log in to the web interface without any issues, create reports, etc.

I've now added an additional user, in the same Administration folder under the Users and Groups section, but when this new user attempts to login, getting "Login attempt failed" popup.

If I add the newly created user in administrator group, then I am able to login through that user, but if I do not add the user to administrator group, "Login attempt failed" pop up appears.

I've tried changing the password as well, but still it's not allowing to login without adding to Administrator user group.

Someone, please guide me on this.

Hi Padma,

your user needs "ReportServer access" permission in order to be able to log in.

ReportServer access. The ReportServer Access right controls who has access to ReportServer, i.e., on login ReportServer checks if the user has the execute (x) right.
