how can End user create ad hoc reports

Hi there,
I have to create one user and this created user should only have access of view reports only.
Also how can another user (end user) create one report and can add remove columns and can create charts also?
How can I publish these reports so that it is available to end users?

Please guide me how can I achieve this functionality in ReportServer.

For "publishing" reports, you can place them in a TeamSpace: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/user … TeamSpace/

thanks for the post.
i have created a user under Administration tab in users and groups and given read access.
And when logged in with that user screen is blank after login, nothing is showing there. i haven given one report access to that created user.

"ReportServer access. The ReportServer Access right controls who has access to ReportServer, i.e., on login ReportServer checks if the user has the execute (x) right."

You can send the report to a Teamspace and if the created used has right on that Teamspace, it should be visible.

Hi,
I have given Execute, Delete rights for user  which is working fine. but Is it possible to create an adhoc report by user by selecting any specific columns rather than selecting all columns?
Please guide on that.

Hi Aniruddha,

you can control the columns seen by the user via the query. The user can select a subset of these columns for adhoc report creation.
