Recommended Process to deploy Reports to another environment

Kindly share the recommended process to deploy the reports.
Eg. Best way to deploy reports from Development environment to QA Environment. In some scenario, single report may be needed to deploy in a single release, not the entire report set.

Please assist.

Thanks & Regards
Nayana

Re: Recommended Process to deploy Reports to another environment

Hi Nayana,

for this, you can use the import/export functionality. Please check here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … nd-Export/ for more information. When importing the objects, note that you have to manually select the nodes to import. (check the import/objects tabs)

Eduardo

Re: Recommended Process to deploy Reports to another environment

Hi Nayana,

please note that while importing objects, a *new* object is being generated. So if you import a report, a *new* report is being created. We are working on functionality to import *and replace* an existing object, but this is not currently supported. It will be probably supported when we release 3.1.

Regards,
Eduardo

Yea. We have noted that. It is better to have that feature. Thanks.
