Reports in Email body

Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible for the Scheduler to send a report with the contents in the email body instead of as an attachment?

Thanks
Andy

Re: Reports in Email body

Hi Andy,

this is not currently possible. This would only work for csv-exportable reports, or how else would you insert the report in the email body?

You can always use the "SendTo" to send whatever you need to whoever you need in a however you need way. You can see an example here: https://forum.reportserver.net/viewtopic.php?pid=4443
In the example, you are sending a report to more than one receiver. In your case, you would export the report to CSV and write the contents in the email body.
More information on SendTo here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/scri … s/Send-To/

Eduardo

Re: Reports in Email body

Great Thank you.  I am aware that JasperServer provides capability to generate a report as HTML and embed it in the body of an email (although I've not tried it) - I was hoping the same was available easily here.  I will look at the examples you have provided.  Do these examples require the enterprise version or will they also work on the community version.
Many Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

scripting requires enterprise version (evaluation).
