Cannot Excute Query on Reports (Datasources Connection Test is OK)

Using Microsoft SQL Server 2012 as Datasources,  the Datasources connection test is OK.
But On the Reports, I Can't excute the SQL Query(this SQL statement work normal on SQLServer Management Studio Tools):

SELECT [column1],[column2],[column3]
  FROM [test1].[dbo].[T1]

Any help is appreciated.

Follow is the Error Message:

Re: Cannot Excute Query on Reports (Datasources Connection Test is OK)

Hi Gerry,

ReportServer does not seem to like one of your columns (i.e., you seem to have a column of type NCHAR). I've filed a bug report [RS-2290] and we'll probably fix this with the next maintenance release (end of this month). Until then I am afraid that you have to either leave out the column or cast it to an nvarchar using

CAST([MynCharColumn] As nVarChar)

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Arno

Re: Cannot Excute Query on Reports (Datasources Connection Test is OK)

Many THX.

As you said, the column1 is nchar type. After use CAST Function, It's work fine...

Look forward to the new release.
