Unable to Login after receiving a new password through 'LostPassword'

Hi Team,

After clicking on 'Lost Password' & I am able to receive a new password on my configured e-mail. But when I try logging in with the new password ...it shows a Login attempt Failed error. I checked the user properties . The (bsiPasswordPolicy:mustChangePassword is set as  false ) .
If you could help me with this !

Hi Gaurav,

we cannot reproduce the problem. Using 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 the mechanism workes smooth.
- Do your users have privileges read "r" and execute "x" on reportserver access permission ?
- What error do you see in the audit log ?

Hi Jan,

I am using the 3.0.2 version. I am unable to login through the password received using "Forgot Password".
Checked the privileges for the user ----> rwxdg (all the rights assigned).
Checked the RS_AUDIT_LOG_ENTRY and it shows 'FAILED_LOGIN' error.
Is it due to downgrade of ReportServer Application to 'Community version' since our trial license expired ?

Hi Gaurav,

just to check: are you sure the password you copy-paste is correct? Please make sure you don't copy empty spaces and  the password is exactly copied as in the email you got. How often have you clicked the "forgot password" button? maybe you are using an old password generated. Please also check this.
