I have configured ldap as per documentation (4.6.2). Updated my sso/ldap.cf and tested with ldapfilter, ldaptest filter, ldaptest users etc.. everything seems to be working and giving me the right output as per my filter. But when i do a ldap import, i get below error.

lower_case_table_names=1 worked.
I just had to first rename all tables to lowercase, update mariadb config with lower_case_table_names=1 and restart DB and Tomcat.
Earlier, i did it in wrong order.
Thanks for the help.

The error happens right after selecting the datasource and after clicking on "Apply".
Don't know if it has any influence, but the reportserver is running from the docker, with a simple self-made Dockerfile I did.
you can try removing the installed views as explained here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/scri … s-and-More

yes, using MySQL >= 8 is supported. You can use the same DDLs as for MySQL 5.

just having a user in the default "Administrators" group does not mean that the user is able to do everything in ReportServer. You have to set needed permissions for the "Administrators" group as explained here: https://reportserver.net/en/guides/admi … anagement/

can you please share your reportserver.properties?
You need to have
rs.install.basedata = true
active.

I hope this message finds you well. I've been experiencing some performance issues while using ReportServer, particularly when importing a report into a collaborative space and conducting searches among reports.
The process of importing a report into a collaborative space seems to be taking an unusually long time, and performing searches among the reports is also noticeably slow. This is impacting the efficiency of our workflow.
I wanted to reach out to the community to inquire if others have encountered similar performance issues and if there are any recommended solutions or best practices to optimize the application's speed.
Additionally, I would appreciate insights from the ReportServer team on whether there are specific optimizations or configurations that can be applied to enhance the performance, especially in scenarios involving collaborative spaces and report searches.
Your assistance and guidance on this matter would be highly valuable. Thank you in advance for any information or recommendations you can provide.
Best regards,
]]>access to specific tabs within the admin area is restricted by generic permissions. For instance, the "Users" Administration tab is controlled by the generic right named "User management".
Therefore, if you only possess the Administration permission, your administration area will be empty. However, by adding the "user management" permission, you will gain access to the "user" tab within the administration area, and so forth.

good news! ReportServer 4.7 will support the JXLS Grid command out-of-the-box in the JXLS template of the dynamic list: https://jxls.sourceforge.net/samples/dynamic_grid.html
The defined column order, visibility, aliases of the dynamic list variant are used here out-of-the-box.

Eduardo
Thanks for you feedback, I will then check the permissions.

Geoffrey
